Pabna district was established in 1832.Pabna District is bounded by Natore and Sirajgonj districts on the north, Rajbari and Kushtia districts on the south, Manikgonj and Sirajgonj districts on the east, Ganges river and Kushtia district on the west..Archeologist Cunninggham conjectured that the name Pabna might be derived from pundra or Poondrobordhon civilization, whose capital wasMahastangarh, the oldest city of Bangladesh, in neighbouring Bogra. Once the present area of the Pabna district was a part of the ancient Pundravardhana. Although established in 1832 the contours of the district has been changed many times. The major changes of the boundaries of the district took place in 1877 and 1881 with the major changes of the courses of the rivers Padma and Jamuna. In the 1980s greater Pabna district was divided into two districts: Pabna and Sirajganj. The districts consists of 9 upazilas, 8 municipalities, 81 wards, 191 mahallas, 73 union parishads, 1321 mouzas and 1540 villages. There is a 450-bed mental hospital, second oldest in Indian Subcontinent, only after Ranchi Mental Hospital, Jharkhand, India. Recently government owned Pabna Medical College & Hospital and Pabna University of Science And Technology has been set up. Mental Hospital, Pabna and Pabna Medical College and Hospital are built on land donated by Lord Thakur Anukulchandra at Hemayetpur. Ishwardi is one of the important railway junctions of the North Bengal as well as in Bangladesh. There is an airport at Iswardi which has twice weekly air services to Shahjalal International Airport, Dhaka of Hardinge Bridge and Lalon Shah Bridge over the Padma linked Pabna with Kushtia District as well as Khulna Division and the southern Bangladesh. Square Farmaceutical Company is situated in Pabna Town. Paksey Paper Mill, Pabna Sugar Mill, Iswardi EPZ is also in Pabna district. Pabna district is famous for production of milk and various type of fruits like Lychee, Papaya, Guava, Borai and Mango. At the end of the town there is a park (Prosanti Bhuban Park) which attracts the tourists by its beautiful scenery. Pabna is a potential districts in Bangladesh in all respect.

The existences of five garhs are Bhitargarh, Hosaingarh, Mirgarh, Rajangarh and Devengarh. Panchagarh is named after these five garhs. Panchagarh District City stands on the bank of Kartoya at once 26.250N 88.500 E. The Panchagarh District in the northern part of Bangladesh. In the boundary on three side's by 288 km long India Border, having Darjeeling District North, Jalpaiguri and Kuchbihar Districts on the northeast, west Dinajpur and Purneia District on the west, Dinajpur and Thakurgaon Districts on the south, Nilphamari District on the east.Panchagarh was a thana under Jalpaiguri district of West Bengal during the British rule. It was under Dinajpur district at the time of the partition of 1947. It was turned into a subdivision in 1980 consisting of Panchagarh Sadar, Boda, Debiganj, Atwari and Tetulia thanas. Panchagarh was elevated to a district in 01th February 1984. It consists of five upazilas, two municipality, 43 union Parishads and 850 villages.Panchagarh has a strong history and heritage in diversified culture within indigenous Sautal (Tribal) people's. During separation of India in 1947, Panchagarh thana was attached with Dinajpur District under Thakurgaon Mohakuma. In the Mohakoma Administrator Mr. Sayed Abdur Rashid (01-01-1980 to 31-12-1982). The Panchagarh Municipality was established in 1985. Panchagarh Sugar Mills was set up by the Government in 1965-69. It is the northern most Sugar Mill in Bangladesh. The Sugar Mill started its trail production in 1969-70. The first Rocks Museum in Panchagarh was established in 2000. The Panchagarh BP Government High School, Panchagarh and Primary Teacher Training Institute (PTI) were established in 1944 & 2006-07 respectively. Panchagarh Bir Moktijoddha Sirajul Islam stadium near in the Head Quarter. It’s soil is sandy, alluvial and bears close affinity with the soil of the old Himalayan Basin. On the northern part of the district there exists under ground water layer problem. Panchagarh has 16 rivers. Among them some main rivers are Kartoya, Atrai, Tista, Nagor, Mahananda, Tangon, Dahuk, Pathraj, Bhulli, Talma, Chawai, Kurum, Versa, Tirnoi, and Chilka. Maximum riverbed characters is steep slope. There are many Industries such as Tea Estate & Industry, Sugar Mill, Gem Jute Mill, Rice Mill, Ice Factory, Oil mill and Sawmill.

Patuakhali(Bengali: পটুয়াখালী ) is a district in South-western Bangladesh. It is a part of the Barisal Division. This is the main entrance for the beach of Kuakata. Famous for watching both the sun rise and sun set. It is called "The Daughter of Sea". This district is called "SagorKonna", which means "Daughter of Sea". It is watered by the Bay of Bengal.
The three sides of Patuakhali city is surrounded by rivers. Among them two major rivers are Laukathi and Lohalia, which are directly connected with the Bay of Bengal.
The city also has a inland airport used to transporting and traveling of the citizens across the country.
Agriculture is the profession of the most of the people. Fishing is also a prominent profession of this district. Thousands of boats go into the deep sea to fish and come back with tons of fish. Paddy, Jute, and different types of vegetables are the main product of agriculture sector.
There is a popular beach in this district at Kuakata, offering decent views of the Bay of Bengal. A number of different tribal peoples live in the district. Most of them are from the Mog and Chakma tribal groups. * ------ Mirzaganj (Year Uddin Khalipa's MAZAR). ------- Kalaia Bandar (Rice's Hut). ------- Mohipur (Fishing Boat).
Patuakhali University of Science and Technology is located in Dumki Upazila. It is known for being particularly strong in agriculture and IT education.
The city Patuakhali is situated beside two local rivers. Named - Laukathi River and Lohalia River. In the tidal time some of the regions of Patuakhali city are flooded with the river water. The sea - Bay of Bengal is not so far from the region.
On the entrance of the city there lies a bridge that connects Barisal(the divisional city) with the city and Kuakata sea beach. There come so many visitors each day and passes some time on the bridge.

Perojpur is a district in South Western Bangladesh. It is a part of Barisal division. It is located besides the Boleswor river at 22 30’ 00” N 89 52’ 00” E & 22 52’-00” N 90 13’00” E and bounded by Gopalgonj, Barisal district on the north, Barguna district on the south., Jhalokati district on the east and Bagerhat on the west. It is declared as a district in 1st March, 1984. It consists of Seven Upazila, three Pourasava and fifty one Unions. This district has may beautiful places and is famous for its natural furits like coconut, Guava, Hog-plum, betel leaf and betel nuts etc. The area of the town is small but everything is built in a planned way and also very clean. There are different buses to smooth the communication with other district as well as inside the district. Water routes also connect this district with the capital city, Khulna, Barisal etc all through the year. There are some prominent rivers exists in the districts these are Boleshhwar, Kocha and Sandha etc.

Most of the land is low laying plane land 10-19 feet above from see level and the soil is fertile. The city of Rajshahi is the divisional headquarters of Rajshahi division as well as the administrative district that bears its name and is one of the six metropolitan cities of Bangladesh. Often referred to as Silk City and Education City, Rajshahi is located at 24.40°N 88.50°E and is situated on the northern banks of the river Padma. It consists of nine Upazilas,14 Pourasavas and seventy one unions. Rajshahi was formerly known as Rampur Boalia. Though an epigraphic record engraved on the Dargah of the famous saint Hazrat Shah Makdhum (Rh.) indicates that the antiquity of Rajshahi goes back to at least 1634 A.D. The town was given importance in 1825, when the East India Company shifted the administrative headquarters of the district of Rajshahi from Natore to then Rampur Boalia, mainly for the ease of communication from Calcutta through the Hooghly river, Bhairab River and Padma river. Rajshahi Municipality, which was one of the first municipalities in Bangladesh, was established in 1876. Rajshahi Municipality was renamed as Rajshahi Pourashabha, and finally, Rajshahi Pourshava was declared Rajshahi City Corporation in 1987. Besides the City Corporation, a governing body named Rajshahi Unnayan Kortripokhkho (Rajshahi Development Authority-RDA) is there to plan the development of the city and to coordinate all the development related work.Rajshahi is famous for its silk industries. Fine and cheap silk products of Rajshahi have earned it the nickname Silk City. Rajshahi is also well known for its fruits, especially for Mango and Lychee.
